Robert Brooks makes a personal commitment to prepare thoroughly for the defence of each and every person he represents. Robert’s broad experience in business and law has uniquely qualified him to represent clients from a diverse range of vocational and cultural backgrounds.
Robert earned a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Toronto. After several years of working in the pharmaceutical industry, he went on to study Law at the University of Windsor. He articled at Murusik, Miller and Swain in Ottawa and moved on to establish a highly regarded criminal and family law practice in Milton, Ontario.
He is a member in good standing of: The Law Society of Upper Canada, The Criminal Lawyers' Association, The Area Committee for Legal Aid Ontario and The Halton County Bar Association. He also serves on Legal Aid Certificate specialty panels for Extremely Serious Criminal Matters, Gladue Court (for Aboriginal Canadians) and the Ontario Review Board.
